Old-school rapper Turk was a key component of the Cash Money label
as a member of the hip-hop collective, Hot Boys. After his group’s
debut album would sell over 300,000 copies and chart nationally on
Billboard, the crew would follow that success up with a second
album before many of them would depart, leaving Lil Wayne all by
his lonesome. And while Turk would initially find great success on
his own with the release of his debut solo album “Young &
Thuggin’” -- which would become a Top 10 hit on the Billboard 200
-- soon enough, he found himself in trouble with the law and
serving a nine-year prison bid for a police-related shooting. After
getting released in 2012, Turk would sue his former label and more
recently, he’s unleashed a series of incredible tales about his
