In part 1, we began the story of Abraham Shakespeare, a fun-loving,
good hearted guy who, at age 40, won 17 million dollars in the
Florida lottery and immediately began using it to benefit his
community. In fact, in just a couple of years, he spent all but
$1.5 million of his winnings, and he was starting to realize that
if he wasn’t careful, he could be broke again before long. It was
weighing on his mind. We also started telling you about a serial
con artist and thief named DeeDee Moore, whose driving force in
life was greed. DeeDee dreamed of living the good life, and she
seemed determined to do it on other people’s dime. And despite
committing crime after crime, DeeDee had never experienced any
consequences beyond probation. And when people like DeeDee don’t
have to face consequences, they get the message that they can get
away with absolutely anything. Sadly, the paths of these two very
different people are about to cross, with devastating results. Join
us now for part two of this bizarre true crime story.
