Everything in life is always changing. Nothing stays the same.
Your body and mind need this change to thrive and stay healthy.
As the seasons of life change around you, it’s important to
return to your goals and update them according to where you are
at now. Congratulate and reward yourself for the goals you have
accomplished, while setting new goals that challenge you to grow
into the future.
If you don’t set goals and you don’t set plans, they’ll never
come true. Dr. McCollum once worked with a sports coach who would
say, “You’ll always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” If
you want to see something happen in your life, no matter how out
of reach it may seem, the simple act of handwriting it down as a
goal will begin the magic of manifesting it in your life.
Give it a shot and write down five things that you would like to
see happen next year in your career, health, family, marriage,
personal life, etc. Remember to actually write it out by
hand—this is the key! Go out and challenge your skills and
surround yourself with people that you look up to and who
encourage you to keep growing more and more.
So much of disease can be easily prevented by setting goals to
make the right diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices. You don’t
have to wait till it’s too late. You can start making changes
today that will optimize your well-being and keep your body
healthy for the long haul.
