David “Avocado” Wolfe explains that brown foods like coffee,
senna, and cacao (i.e. chocolate) are laxatives, meaning that
they get the digestive system to start moving in order to
stimulate a bowel movement.
Cacao, more commonly known as “chocolate,” is among the highest
antioxidant-rich foods eaten by the average American. “Chocolate
is the right drug for a human being,” Wolfe exclaims. “We go too
far into any one thing [and] it’s trouble. But there’s something
that’s always there for us, and that’s chocolate… Chocolate does
cause us to feel happier, and it increases lifespan.”
