In episode 1, I lecture on chapter 1 of Peter G. Northouse's
"Leadership: Theory and Practice." General concepts of leadership
are discussed, the term is defined, and there's a special focus
on leadership and power.

In the Rapid Fire Interview segment, I'm lucky to have the chance
to discuss leadership philosophy with Tim Holt (@TimHoltSoccer),
the Managing Director of San Antonio Football Club. Tim has
significant leadership experience in professional soccer and he
brings a unique perspective on what it means to lead both on the
pitch and in the front office. Let Jacob know your thoughts at
@TingleJK.

The Take Home is a flipped lecture podcast created for students
in Dr. Jacob K. Tingle's Leadership for Sport Professionals class
at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.

The first segment of each episode is geared specifically for his
students and features a brief lecture on course readings, much of
which is from the 9th edition of "Leadership: Theory and
Practice" by Peter G. Northouse.

The second segment is great for students and anyone else
interested in the relationship between sports and leadership. The
Rapid Fire Interview segment which features a conversation
between Jacob and brings the leadership theories to life and aims
to give listeners a peek behind the curtain of being a
leader in the dynamic sports biz.

Jacob encourages followers to keep the conversation going
