In episode 4, I lecture on chapter 4 of the 9th edition of
Peter G. Northouse's "Leadership: Theory and Practice." During
the segment, I discuss behavioral approaches to studying
leadership, the DISC behavioral profile, and highlight the
Blake-Mouton Leadership Grid.

In the Rapid Fire Interview segment, I discuss leadership
philosophy and leadership with Christina Barrow (@XinaDavidson)
the International Officiating Manager at World Netball (
@WorldNetball_ ). Christina came to the sport later in life and
moved into her current role after many years as a project manager
for a global company. The experience of shifting from the
for-profit world to a world governing body in the sports world
gave her a unique perspective and allowed her to develop her
leadership philosophy. In our conversation she highlights the
differences between positional and personal power, why 360 degree
evaluations are so important, and that good leaders are
empathetic role models who live the organizational values.

Send me your thoughts and let's keep the
