Aryion Young (1-0) fights this Friday night for the first time
with Factory X in his corner when he competes for the Rage In The
Cage promotion in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Young will take on the
1-2 Israel Rodriguez in a featherweight matchup after winning by
1st round KO his last time out. Fights start at 7:30 pm.


Then on Saturday, Derek Henkens (2-2) of Apex Combat Academy will
fight in Omaha, Nebraska against Josh Krejci (3-6) for the Dynast
Combat Sports promotion. Henkens will be coming into the bout
after a two year layoff but rocks two submission wins on his
record and a 100% finish rate. Fights go down live on Saturday
night, starting at 7:30 pm and streaming on FITE TV.


And in other local mma news…


Professional prize fighter and grappling specialist, Caleb Crump
will be hosting a “Money On The Mat” cash prize jiu jitsu
tournament that provides competitors with the opportunity to win
$1600 by coming out victorious in a 16 man bracket. Entry fee is
$250 and the event takes place in Colorado Springs. There will be
4 competition groups in total. 155 lb and 170 lb No-Gi blue belt

Additionally, Sparta has made yet another historic announcement,
letting their fans and fighters know that they have officially
been approved and sanctioned for Muay Thai bouts with 4oz MMA
gloves coming in October! So any fighters out there looking to
throw down in a striking match with MMA gloves, go let Sparta
