Ep. 100: Marie Laveau - Voodoo Queen (Part I)

Happy 100th episode! We (figuratively) travel to New Orleans,
Louisiana to talk about the real legend, Voodoo Priestess Marie
Laveau. Laveau was the reigning queen of voodoo in the 1830’s,
with some people (Maria) believing she lived more than one
lifetime. Marie was also a healer, and a charitable person who
gave much of her energy to her community. In part one we delve
into her ancestry and the reality of Marie’s circumstances during
antebellum New Orleans. Lauri tells us she doesn’t sympathize
with smokers, and possibly makes a spirit angry in the process.
