An Italian Christmas Show with a stand-up comic that wrote the
catchy song, “Italian Christmas Time.”


Mike explains where the “KC” comes from & his love for
comedy. We get into Italian families, neighborhoods, the
15-minute goodbye when leaving a party, and the noise level of a
room full of Italians!


Godfather is a must at Thanksgiving! Is Die Hard a Christmas
movie? 


Cooking: Do you put olive oil in pasta water? Is it correct to
break spaghetti? Sauce or gravy? Macaroni or pasta? Mike tells
about his family’s Seven Fishes Christmas Tradition, having
homemade wine and then there is PASTINA! (see show notes for
recipe). Don’t forget the old-fashioned cookie tin!


Christmas Eve is BIGGER than Christmas Day for Italians: Tommy
& Mike tell our family’s traditions which leads into nativity
scenes and midnight mass. 


The idea behind the song: Italian Christmas Time which brings
memories of Sunday dinners, basement kitchens, and multiple
refrigerators. Mike brings the show to the song by hoping the old
days would come back….So Do I!
