Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet and Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun
break down the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 overtime loss to the Dallas
Stars on Friday night. There was a lot to like for the Jets in
this one, including a pair of rallies - including one with the
goalie on the bench in favour of an extra attacker with 31.9
seconds remaining in regulation - to secure one point but they
are now six points behind the Stars in the race for fifth place
in the Central Division standings. The Jets, 19-17-8, are back in
action on Saturday night against the Nashville Predators as they
continue a stretch of five consecutive games against Central
Division opponents.
