Ehlers plays role of hero as Jets defeat Blue Jackets 4-3 in OT to spoil Laine's return

Friday night. The return of Patrik Laine was the feature
attraction as the former Jets winger returned to play his first
game against the team that chose him second overall in the 2016
NHL Draft, but it was Nikolaj Ehlers who played the role of hero
by scoring 21 seconds into the fourth period. With the win, the
Jets improved to 31-25-10 and pulled within three points of the
Dallas Stars, who hold three games in hand.
