Jets earn shootout victory over Sabres to keep slim playoff hopes alive

and shootout markers from Pierre-Luc Dubois, Mark Scheifele and
Wheeler to secure the extra point. This was a vintage performance
from Connor Hellebuyck, who made 35 saves in what was his
league-leading 57th start of the season. The Jets improved to
32-25-10 and pulled within one point of the Dallas Stars, who
hold three games in hand.  The Jets are right back in action
on Thursday in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
