Jets rally late in 3rd period but fall 5-4 in OT to league-leading Avalanche

that saw the Jets come back from a 4-2 deficit to force overtime
on a 6-on-4 goal by Nikolaj Ehlers. But with Ehlers in the box
serving a slashing minor, Cale Makar buried a one-timer with
three seconds to go in the power play for the game-winning goal.
With 10 games left to go in the regular season, the Jets are now
33-28-11 and they're back in action on Sunday against the Ottawa
Senators.
