Jets win first-place showdown with decisive 5-1 win over Stars

Connor had three assists, Mason Appleton had a goal and two
helpers and Connor Hellebuyck made 22 saves and pushed his
goals-against average below 2 (1.98 for those keeping score at
home). The Jets have collected at least a point in seven
consecutive games (6-0-1) and improved to 8-3-1 on the season.
They're back in action on Saturday against the Calgary Flames.
