DeMelo ends 86-game drought, Connor provides OT winner as Jets defeat Predators

the Winnipeg Jets  2-1 overtime victory over the Nashville
Predators on Thursday night. Dylan DeMelo snapped a lengthy
goal-scoring drought and Kyle Connor scored on his 12th shot on
goal for the OT winner, while Connor Hellebuyck had another solid
outing after allowing a goal on the first shot on goal from Filip
Forsberg. The Jets snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to
19-9-1 on the season, 11-2 in the Central Division and 7-1 in
overtime.
