Ken Wiebe and Sean Reynolds discuss the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 victory
on Friday night in Pittsburgh, a night that featured a Cole
Perfetti flu game, two more goals from Mark Scheifele, a goal and
a helper from Blake Wheeler, Kyle Connor extending his point
streak to nine games, Dylan DeMelo chipping in a pair of assists,
Nikolaj Ehlers producing another goal in his fifth game back from
injury and a sound showing from backup goalie David Rittich.
Perhaps more importantly, the Jets buckled down defensively as
they won for the seventh time in the past eight games to close
out this three-game road trip. The Jets are back in action on
Sunday against the Arizona Coyotes before they head back on the
road for the longest road trip of the season, a five-gamer that
begins in Montreal against the Canadiens.
