Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet is joined by Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg
Free Press and Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun to discuss the
Winnipeg Jets 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night.
The Jets gave up a breakaway goal to Nathan MacKinnon 19 seconds
into the contest, tied it on a power play marker from Mason
Appleton, only to give up four unanswered goals as they were
dominated in all facets of the game in what Jets head coach Rick
Bowness previously referred to as the most important game of the
season. The Avalanche pulled within two points of the Jets in the
standings and hold three games in hand. The Jets were "humbled"
according to D-man Brenden Dillon and will be looking to respond
on Sunday afternoon as they face the New York Islanders.
