E64: Self-Help in the Age of Trauma

The world as we currently know it was described in a recent Harvard
Public Health article as the Age of Trauma, with political
division, gun violence, Covid, the opioid crisis, climate change,
and the list goes on. People are stressed out and exhausted. Four
in ten people report symptoms of anxiety and depression, up from
one in ten in 2019.

Dr. Roger, Teresa, and Danielle discuss solutions for calming the
chattering mind, being a conscious observer of our thoughts, and
putting those thoughts through reality checks. For example, what
thoughts are helpful? And which are not?
