7: Nishat Akhtar

On the 7th episode of Tattletale we speak with Nishat Ahktar
about the important role animals play in Nishat’s life including
a book about rabbit refugees. We call a half defunct hotline that
was intended to play the music of Philadelphia’s greatest rock
& roll duo on demand. We talk about growing up with immigrant
parents as well as commiserate in the Asian disappointment and
shame on when her mom discovered her first tattoo. We laugh, we
cry and I even gained a couple new perspectives on feminism.
