Adrian Thorpe is a former Major in the British Army and a
qualified Ammunition  Technical Officer (ATO) who decided
when he left the military that it was time to put his technical
training and love of blowing things up to good use - building
guitar pedals! While it's not the most direct or common route,
Thorpy has translated it into one of the most unique and highest
quality pedal brands in the business in ThorpyFX and has
additionally lent his expertise to his partnership with musician
Mikey Demus in forming Redbeard Effects.

In this episode we talk about how Adrian got into building
pedals, what kinds of sounds he likes, and yes, we talked about
NAMM!
