Jackson Irvine: Ups & downs of his 10 month journey back to football

After spending 10 months without playing a game of football,
Jackson Irvine recently signed with Scottish Premiership side
Hibernian where he’s already made an impact alongside fellow
Socceroos teammate Martin Boyle. 


But Jackson’s journey this past year hasn’t been without enormous
challenges. The 27-year-old takes us through how he dealt with
the mental and physical tasks of keeping himself fit while
searching for a new club in a COVID world.


He also chats Socceroos, training with Harry Kewell, his Simpsons
tattoo that went viral overnight and much more. Jackson’s journey
over the last year provides an important lesson for all who want
to become professional footballers. No matter what the situation
is: never give up.
