Aussies Abroad Podcast: Awer Mabil on his journey to Turkey

The Socceroos Podcast is back! 


In a new season of the show that brings you closer to our
national team stars, host Chris Curulli will be catching up with
some of our Aussies Abroad, to see how they're travelling
overseas in clubland.


Our first episode features Awer Mabil after he made his Turkish
Super Lig debut with Kasimpasa.


Awer shares his first impressions of life in Instanbul, dives
into what he's learned overcoming obstacles in Portugal and
Denmark over the years, and talks about some of the legendary
players he's brushed shoulders with along the way - including one
member of Spanish Football royalty that he's grown particularly
close with.


He also answers some of your questions from Instagram, and names
an interesting five-a-side team of the best players he's played
with and against.
