After a long week, sometimes, it feels good to touch grass, or
read a real book or think and then repeat it outloud. Today I do
this by reading excerpts from "Taxi Driver Wisdom" written by
Risa Mickenberg. This book has inspired me for years and years.
Not only because it's about New York City, the greatest city in
the world. But rather, by the mere fact that the author spoke
with my favorite people, taxicab drivers. Many veteran drivers
are so interesting and have so much wisdom to share. I am so
grateful for this author to have tapped into something so amazing
like this. A must read. It's published by Chronicle books.
