In the ever-expanding universe of M. Night Shyamalan, it’s hard
to explain why Signs seemed to be calling out to us. Looking at
the film with fresh eyes, this 21 year-old thriller inspired us
to reminisce on childhood fears and the impact the twist had on
our tiny minds all those years ago. If early-2000s blockbusters
are your thing, you’ll enjoy hanging out while we go over the
practical effects, religious overtones, and a director’s impulse
to write themselves into their own movies. We’re not always sure
