Episode 10: Life of a Chaplain - with Pastor Richard Cogan

Pastor Richard Cogan is the chaplain at Cancer Treatment Centers
of America, in Tulsa OK. Today we visited about his history as a
pastor, how he almost opened a church in Las Vegas, and what it's
like to minister at the hospital.


At CTCA, Cogan provides spiritual support and pastoral care to
patients, their families, and staff members. He offers both group
and individual counseling sessions. “It’s an honor and privilege
to be able to minister to patients and family members in such a
difficult time,” he says. “I let them know we are here to come
alongside them and that they are not going through this thing
alone.”
