introduction for. We discuss Marcuse's influence on
accelerationism, his historical materialist take on Freudian
psychoanalysis, and the function of repression and enjoyment in a
capitalist landscape where scarcity appears increasingly
artificial in light of technological and cybernetic advances in
production.
