Recorded on location in a nomad camp in
the Sahara Desert on the border between Algeria and
Morocco.

This interview features an in depth look at nomadic life in
the largest desert on earth. Featuring men from Arabic, Bedouin,
Berber & Tuareg tribes who were born and raised in a nomadic
family utilizing camels and constant movement as a way of life.
From the games they would play as children while herding goats to
the staple items one must have in order to survive, including
camel milk, dates, salted meat, wells, celestial navigation,
turbans and family. Learn why being a nomad teaches you patience
and hospitality. Learn why stress doesn't exist in a nomad's
life. This interview will take you into a carpeted tent under
some of the tallest sand-dunes in the world during a full moon
while the sand-storms blow to the West.

The Sahara Desert, aṣ-ṣaḥrāʼ al-kubrá, 'the Great
Desert’. Covers an area of 3,600,000 sq miles,
the Sahara is the largest hot desert in the world
comparable to the area of China & the US. The name 'Sahara'
is derived from a dialectal Arabic word, ṣaḥra, meaning “desert".
For hundreds of thousands of years, the Sahara has
alternated between desert & savanna grassland in a 41,000
year cycle caused by the precession of the Earth's axis as it
rotates around the Sun, which changes the location of the North
African Monsoon. The area is next expected to become green in
about 15,000 years. Learn more and support their work by
