Bruce Noble, John Endrizzi and Linda Wyeth are working to raise
awareness of Enbridge pipeline, which runs through 12 counties
in Wisconsin, including Rock, where it passes under the Rock river.
Grassroots Pipeline Awareness Group works to bring awareness
to this important fact. It also advocates for proper training
for those in public safety who would be dealing with the aftermath,
should the unthinkable happen, which is does with some regularity.
Cinder Roherty is a writer of several adult romance novels, several
of which she has self-published. Most recently, Cinder has
also written a young adult novel. In the studio, Cinder
shared her approach to writing, how she develops her characters,
and the importance of asking “What if?” Draven Umbra is a local
resident who started a GoFundMe site, looking to raise funds to
create a Hackerspace here in Janesville. What is
Hackerspace? Wikipedia defines it as “a
community-operated workspace where people with common interests,
often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital
art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and collaborate.”
Draven shared his reasons behind deciding to give this idea a
try, and why he feels it is needed in Janesville. Next, Draven
Umbra shared his passion for scary clowns and make up, which he
puts on full display, as a regular cast member of Forest of Freaks,
a popular outdoor haunted house. This episode is brought to
