The Blind Cook" MasterChef Winner Tells Inspirational Story Encouraging Others

Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil will interview Chef Christine
winner of Masterchef.


Christine Ha first became a culinary sensation after winning
season three of the hit TV cooking competition "MasterChef." Ha
beat out more than 30,000 home cooks across the country to make
it onto the show MasterChef – then won the title. The win earned
her $250,000 and a cookbook deal with celebrity chef Gordon
Ramsey, who wrote the foreword for her book.

Now, she has opened not one, but 2 restaurants. But if her
accomplishments weren't already impressive enough, Ha has managed
to do it all despite being legally blind. (can tie it into March
as Women’s History Month – recognizing accomplishments of women)


Tests revealed that Ha had neuromyelitis optica or NMO, an
autoimmune disease that causes vision loss. Her inspirational
story is a testament to her determination and her desire to
pursue her dreams  - a story to motivate and impress
everyone  - especially those facing difficult challenges.
