1390: The Majestic Whale Calf Delighting Beach-Goers

There have been a couple Southern Right Whale calves born in
local waters this season, including one in Goolwa and a girl
who’s been spotted with her mum at Christies and Sellicks Beach,
Port Noarlunga and has moved today to Carrackalinga.



The mum’s name is Christie and whale watchers are trying to come
up with a name for the baby.



Photographer and nature enthusiast Barabara Martin has snapped
some incredible shots this week of the pair.
