1506: Cathy Smith - Murray Bridge Citizen of the Year

The 2022 Rural City of Murray Bridge Citizen of the Year is Cathy
Smith.



Cathy has lived in Murray Bridge for 23 years with her family and
has worked for many not-for-profit organisations, volunteered in
the community, serves as a Justice of the Peace and Chairs the MB
Suicide Prevention Network and Leads the MB Disability
Network. 



In her nomination she is refered to as "a pillar of the
community; she is a positive role model to all those she touches,
she is inclusive, respectful and knowledgeable."



Cathy joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast for a chat about her
work and to share some advice for talking to people who need some
mental health support.
