1529: Spanish Train Manufacturer Pitches Hills Rail Project - Podcast

Spanish train manufacturer Talgo has offered to fund a $2.5M
passenger rail trial in the Adelaide Hills and is calling for
State Government support.



The express service between Mount Barker and Adelaide could run
within 45-minutes, compared with an estimate by Infrastructure SA
of 71 minutes.



Former transport department staffer and prominent advocate for
rail in the Hills, Luigi Rossi would help deliver the project,
along with aerospace engineer Edwin Michell.
