1560: Meet the Mayo Candidate - Padma Chaplin - Animal Justice Party

Padma Chaplin is Mayo’s Animal Justice Party candidate in this
year's Federal Election.





The Adelaide Hills local, who's based in Forest Range, is a
musician and poet who has worked in small business and has worked
extensively with children and Indigenous communities. She is also
a volunteer at a sanctuary for farmed animals and
ex-racehorses.

As well as advocating for an end to animal suffering, Padma says
she is concerned about mental well-being in the community, food
security, climate change and a growing wealth gap between rich
and poor.



She joins Jennie Lenman in her series of discussions with Mayo
and Barker candidates this election.
