1596: Community Works to Re-Establish Gumeracha ED

Today marks 690 days since the former Liberal Government closed
the Gumeracha Emergency Department (ED).



Community Advocate Joel Taggart has been appealing to the State
Government to address the lack of healthcare in the region.

Following a meeting with State Health Minister Chris Picton, a
working group has been established to help decide on a model of
care that can re-establish services for the northern hills
region.
