1619: Autism in Schools - Assistant Minister Emily Bourke

South Australia is leading the way by appointing the country’s
first Assistant Minister for Autism. 

Emily Bourke, who is also assistant minister to Premier Peter
Malinauskas, is tasked with the State Government's autism
policies.

Ms Bourke wants the condition viewed as an opportunity rather
than disability.

She joins Jennie Lenman to explain.
