Today, I'd like to share with you my recent breakthrough and
awakening from within. I feel like it is very important that I
share it with you and I hope that it can add value to you.Every
single day, we are so busy. We are busy going to work and building
our businesses, but when was the last time that you paused and
really asked yourself what you are trying to create in life? Why do
we do what we do? What do we really want? Is it something that we
really want for ourselves or is it something that our bosses,
parents, or society wants from us?I recently attended this workshop
about pursuing success and the instructor asked - "Everybody is
always pursuing success, everybody is so driven to make money and
become successful, but have you ever wondered from what state you
are pursuing success? Are you pursuing success from the inner state
of stress or do you want to make more money or is it because you
want to prove your parents or other people that you are worthy? Is
it from that kind of state of being, or is it because you are
driven because you want to grow and you want to contribute more? Or
you want to live to your maximum potential and make more
connections? From what inner state are you pursuing success?"That
got me thinking about my life. Since I was younger, I have always
been driven. I always wanted to get good grades in school and be at
the top of my class. When I came to the US, I was still very driven
by success. I wanted to become financially independent. I invested
a lot of money in my personal improvement and I looked back on the
previous years and realized that the reason I was pursuing success
was because of my mother. I wanted to get my mother's approval so
that I can gain her love. I was still yearning for my mother's
love.During this process, I realized that if you pursue success
from a state of anxiety and fear, it will never be enough. There
will always be more anxiety, more fear, and you will always think
of what's next. It's like an endless hole that's never
filled.That's why I took a moment and I paused. I paused and I was
thinking, I spent so many years pursuing success and it wasn't even
for myself. I have wasted so many years, and it's not even what I
wanted for myself. Are we gonna spend 10 or 20 more years living a
life that's not for ourselves? Imagine, if you are the director of
your own movie - what kind of movie would you produce? What kind of
life would you make for yourself?Everything that happens in our
life is for a reason. What I learned the most is that it's not from
the success that I have, but from the failures. I realized that
every mistake, every challenge that we have in life is a blessing
of a lesson that we need in life.Today, I want you to take a moment
to pause and have this conversation with yourself. Ask yourself,
"What do I really want for myself?" - not what your parents, what
your friends, what society wants for you. What you want for
yourself. Who do you want to become? What kind of life do you want
to create for yourself and your family? And in your journey in
pursuing financial success, and anything else you will pursue, what
state would you want to pursue it? Are you going to continue from
the state of anger and anxiety or are you choosing to pursue
success from the state of joy? Everything you need is within you
now, and it's up to you to make that decision.
