Greg Peterson from the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast and VSIN was the
leadoff hitter on today’s edition of BangTheBook Radio to talk
college basketball and some NFL. Adam and Greg took a look around
the CBB landscape and talked about evaluating a team’s body of work
from a sample size standpoint at this time of the year. They also
talked about some buy and sell teams for Greg before looking at
Rutgers vs. Iowa, Memphis vs. Tulsa, and UNLV vs. Nevada. To finish
out the segment, Adam and Greg talked about Super Bowl LIV to get
some early thoughts on the side and total for the game on February
2. Wes Reynolds, also a regular contributor to VSIN, also hopped on
the program today to share his insights into Super Bowl LIV, the
early side and total moves, and some of the direction that he may
look to go in terms of the prop betting markets. Then the guys took
a look at the Big Ten in college basketball and the staggering
home/road splits within the conference. They also talked about the
usual suspects, the up-and-comers, and how all of this will shake
out going forward. Finally, the guys talked both of this week’s
golf tournaments with some thoughts on the Dubai Desert Classic and
the Farmers Insurance Open.
