Host Adam Burke opened up the show with leadoff hitter Bryan
Leonard, which seems apropos because the guys talked some Major
League Baseball after discussing Super Bowl LIV. Adam and Bryan
looked at the big game on Sunday and talked through some of the
prop betting stuff that is out there for 49ers vs. Chiefs. Then
they shifted gears to baseball to discuss their preparations with
regards to season win totals and futures odds. They talked about
what goes into the prep period and what they are looking for in
terms of positive and negative regression. Wes Reynolds joined Adam
for the second half of today’s show to talk some more about Super
Bowl prop bets and also this week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Adam and Wes took another look at the spread and total for the
game, but mostly focused on the prop betting side to discuss some
of the plays that they are looking to add to their cards for the
Super Bowl. The Waste Management Phoenix Open is a good one and
Adam revisited yesterday’s listener question directed to Brian
Blessing to get Wes’s thoughts and then ran through some outright
picks for the tournament.
