Host Adam Burke opened up this Monday edition of the show with The
Bettor’s Box, his MLB betting podcast. It was AL Central Day on the
show, as Adam continued with his new “Five and Fly” segment. That
means five minutes on each of the five teams within the division.
On this one, it was the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians,
Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Minnesota Twins. Adam also
checked in briefly on some quick injury information and told
listeners where to look in order to find more sources for studying
the upcoming season. Professional handicapper Kyle Hunter from
HunterSportsPicks.com and BetterSportsPicks.com joined Adam for
this week’s Handicapping the Hardwood segment in the second part of
the show. The guys discussed a whole lot of different things,
including conference tournament formats and the impact they have on
the end of the regular season. They also talked about totals
betting in these late regular season games. On the game breakdown
side of the spectrum, the guys discussed Akron vs. Bowling Green,
Iowa vs. Michigan State, Virginia vs. Virginia Tech, Furman vs. UNC
Greensboro, ETSU vs. Wofford, South Dakota State vs. North Dakota
State, New Mexico State vs. Grand Canyon, and Wright State vs.
Northern Kentucky.
