Host Adam Burke managed to fit a lot into the show at just over 30
minutes today with a slightly-abbreviated Memorial Day edition of
The Bettor’s Box. Adam answered a couple of questions during the
Monday Mailbag segment regarding what he’s learned and what he’s
still working on as a handicapper and a bettor, including market
entry and the actual value of situational spots. Then it was all
KBO for the rest of the show, as Adam took a look at some ERA and
FIP discrepancies on a team level and on an individual level around
the league as we’re starting to get some bigger sample sizes. He
talked about some pitchers that he’ll be hoping to fade or follow
and about which stats stand out. Finally, Adam previewed all five
series for this week, with thoughts on Kia vs. KT, LG vs. Hanwha,
SK vs. Doosan, Samsung vs. Lotte, and Kiwoom vs. NC.
