Host Adam Burke was back on the airwaves with a new edition of The
Bettor’s Box to talk about a whole lot of different things. He
started by talking about Yankees vs. Nationals and Giants vs.
Dodgers, including a pick for tonight’s action. Then he talked
about how the Blue Jays don’t have a place to play, but should be
happy it’s not PNC Park, and about how playoff expansion will have
an impact on the futures markets and the regular season. There are
a lot of stats and advanced concepts that Adam uses to handicap
baseball, so he spent some time discussing those on today’s show to
give you a refresher or introduce some new ideas to our new
listeners. Finally, he looked at five series coming up this weekend
with thoughts on Yankees vs. Nationals, Twins vs. White Sox,
Brewers vs. Cubs, Angels vs. Athletics, and Diamondbacks vs.
Padres.
