To start off this edition of The Bettor’s Box, host Adam Burke
first talked about the stats that you can actually trust in Spring
Training. There are some that reach a reliability point early on
and those are the ones that you want to focus on as you evaluate
the performances of these players. Continuing with the Spring
Training theme, Adam also addressed some injuries that have popped
up, including Carlos Carrasco, Zach Britton, and Miles Mikolas. The
Five-and-Fly portion of the show focused on the AL Central. Adam
spent about five minutes on each team with his thoughts on the
Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City
Royals, and Minnesota Twins by looking at some strengths,
weaknesses, what happened in 2020, and a whole lot more.
