Host Adam Burke has often been put between a rock and a hard place
in terms of betting the 1st 5 or the full game. On today’s edition
of The Bettor’s Box, he talked through what goes into the process
of making that decision, both from a side and total standpoint.
Adam looked at some situations where that could be relevant today
as examples. Then he took a look at some pitchers that have either
had good luck or bad luck based on their velocity numbers as we
look for some pitchers to fade and some to follow. After that, he
talked about the Saber Stats, yes plural, of the show, surveyed
some recent line moves, and gave a pick for Thursday night.
Finally, Adam previewed a few series for the weekend ahead, with
Indians/Mariners, Mets/Rays, and Cardinals/Padres.
