Deborah A. Meyerriecks is a retired NYC Medic, solitary witch,
and community priestess. In her retirement from Emergency
Medicine, she continues to find herself teaching, writing, and
learning. From NY’s Mid-Husdon River Valley and the Atlantic
coast shoreline to The Colorado River Valley and deserts of
Arizona, and everywhere she finds herself, she makes sure she
takes the time to spend time with Mother as she saunters with
Nature. Deborah’s life lived in magick has taught her that the
point of it all is to truly get to know one’s self as well as
everything else there is to learn about. A strong advocate for
not just productive shadow work but also healing shadow care, she
has been called to facilitate others to find their own path by
holding space for them to journey and holding a lantern in the
dark to help them find their way back to themselves. Deborah is
the author of Macha and the Medic, 9 time contributing author for
Girl God Books, and co-author of the soon to be released Living
In Magick anthology.
