Welcome to Winton, Way Out West in Outback Queensland. This week
we immerse ourselves in the rich history of the region with a
visit to the Waltzing Matilda Centre, a world class museum
dedicated to Australia’s unofficial anthem written by A B (Banjo)
Patterson in 1895.

We step back in time 95 million years to discover the Australian
Age of Dinosaurs, an incredible museum home to the largest
collection of Australian dinosaur fossils in the world. The
museum is split between three facilities, the Fossil Preparation
Laboratory, Collection Room and Dinosaur Canyon.

And Jasper keeps us entertained at the quirky Musical Fence
before we all enjoy the vision splendid of another incredible
Outback sunset.

There is so much to see and do in Winton, we may need to extend
our stay!
