Following our Lessons from a Lap Year mini-series where we shared
all the details on the mistakes that we’ve made, what we’ve
learnt from others mistakes, and the things we would do
differently after 80,000km and 2.5 years full time travelling
Australia, we’re excited to take you back to the very beginning.


From attending our first caravan and camping show, deciding on
what van to purchase, picking up our new 4WD and protecting our
marriage by completing a towing course, to surviving our first
week in the van…. to say we were overwhelmed and full of emotion
was an understatement!
