Exploring Katherine Like Never Before: Don't Miss These 2 Must-do Activities!

We've hit the road south from Darwin after an incredible 3 months
in the Top End! We set up camp in Katherine for a few nights to
experience 2 must-do activities that we have never done before
including a visit to Katherine Outback Experience, owned and
operated by Tom Curtain. This tour is fantastic and gives you a
great insight into daily life on an outback farm in Katherine. We
watched the horses and working dogs being trained, fed the farm
animals and Katie even learned how to crack a whip! Look
out! 





The highlight of our stay was the wonderful Nitmiluk (Katherine
Gorge) boat tour. We chose the Nit Nit Dreaming 2 Gorge Tour and
were blown away by the incredible beauty of the gorge. We can't
believe in all our years traveling we have never stopped to visit
this spectacular National Park. 





Plus, we camp up at a quite Hipcamp on the outskirts of town, and
spend a night at the National Park campground.
