Tom Scherlen is an Amarillo business leader running for Amarillo
City Council, Place 3 in the upcoming May 1 municipal election.
Scherlen is a first time political candidate, but is no stranger to
leadership, formerly serving as Chief Executive Officer of Austin
Hose, a local employer in Amarillo with locations across Texas and
Kansas. Scherlen also serves on the board for the 100 Club of the
