Imani McGee-Stafford | No One Is an Island

The 11th episode of the She Can Ball podcast features Imani
McGee-Stafford, a center for the Dallas Wings, mental health
advocate and aspiring lawyer! Imani sheds light on the topic of
sexual assault. As a survivor of sexual victim herself, she knows
first hand how traumatizing that experience can be and is working
to create change in that area. Imani has postponed her WNBA career
to become a research lawyer to help represent black women in law,
push polices to help make mental health resources more accessible,
and strengthen laws regarding sexual violence. She also speaks
about her remarkable journey from being suicidal to becoming a
motivational speaker. Mrs. Stafford is an amazing woman paving the
way for other females to create change where they see it as
necessary, both on and off the court.
