For episode 38, we chat with Alex Sushon, who produces and DJs
under the moniker Bok Bok. As one of the founders of London-based
music label Night Slugs, Bok played a vital role in ushering in a
genre-bending club sound that successfully combined the spirit of
UK dubplate culture with the futurism of the digital world in the
late 2000s


Throughout the years Night Slugs has churned out dizzying dance
floor bangers from Little Silva’s "Seasons" to Girl Unit’s "IRL".
The charismatic producer sat down with Shannon for a history
lesson on the label’s early beginnings, London club culture, and
Bok shares some exciting news about a new label he’s developing.
